Horizon-Inspired LEGO Set to Appear in May
Over the years, LEGO has been steadily expanding its product line of sets and kits based on the most popular video game franchises out there. For the next installment in the series, the company took its inspiration from the world of Horizon and joined forces with PlayStation and Guerrilla Games to produce a new Lego set based on the Horizon Forbidden West action role-playing game. LEGO will release the new building model on May 22, 2022.
The Horizon-centered Lego kit to come out this spring will cost roughly $80 at the moment of its launch. The bulk of the 1,222-piece set can be used to construct one of the game's splendid Tallneck machines. Also included is a beautiful spear- and bow-carrying minifig of Aloy, the key character in the Horizon series, a smaller Watcher machine scout with blue, yellow, or red eyes, and also some decorations with greenery and a rusted traffic light that help bring the whole scene to life. Once fully assembled, the set will be standing 23 cm (9 in) wide, 34 cm (13.5 in) high, and 17 cm (6.7 in) deep.
Horizon Forbidden West goes on sale on February 18, 2022. The game will be released for PS4 and PS5 consoles. It will be the only cross-generation Horizon title to offer a free next-gen upgrade to those who order the last-gen PS4 version of this PlayStation-exclusive game.
