Google Meet Integrates Miro for Whiteboard Functions
Meet received the whiteboard service for its use. To solve the group chatting problem, Google integrated Miro, the third-part app inside. Miro will improve the group conferences in the Google Meet.
Meet received the new whiteboard service thanks to the integration with the third-party app. The announcement was made by Google last Wednesday. The video meeting platform will offer more features to its users. Miro’s functions will be available for subscribers of Google Workspace and all users who have personal accounts on Google. Meanwhile, its main competitors, including Zoom, use whiteboard functions as well. Apart from that, users of Google Meet will be able to try Miro’s other tools, including comments, templates, and drawing services.
During the video meeting, users will be able to reach all the features that Miro has. This integration means that users of Google Meet will use numerous templates and tools, including sticky notes and workflow planning during the call. Miro offers the ability to make the new board from the beginning or just use the one that exists. Users can also check the board that they’ve attached to the invite to the meeting. To do this, you don’t need to have an account in the Miro app. You may use the access as a guest, create the board there and save it. The board will be available for 24 hours.
Miro offers to select the board for its users and guests. Once you do it, you will see all the participants of the meeting and will be able to use the features that Meet has on its side panel. You can use all the familiar instruments from Meet, including chat, polls, and hand rise. You don’t have to move away from Miro to do it.
