Valve has recently made new upgrades to the Steam Deck before the official release. While users are hopeful to see the dock, there are not many details about its release. Apart from that, there is no specification on the price. All we know is that Valve promises to reveal it in late spring.

The company has made updates to the specs of its Steam Deck gaming PC. The original page of the Steam Deck technical description contained information about 1 USB-A 3.1 port, 1 Ethernet port for a network, and 2 USB-A 2.0 ports. However, there is a new update that Valve apparently preferred to quietly change. According to the new information, Ethernet will be changed to the Gigabit Ethernet port, and all 3 USBA-A ports will have a 3.1 standard, which is way faster than was promised before.

The page with tech specs for the Steam Deck was revealed back on February 12. On February 22 developers added information about the new 3 ports of USB-A 3.1. On February 25 Valve opened the pre-selling of the handheld gaming PC. The diagram was updated to the 3 USB-A 3.1 ports and Gigabit Ethernet.

All the upgrades will be helpful for players. Many players are buying devices searching for the ability to use this dock to play games from Steam on TV. However, there is still not much information about the exact date of its release. All we know for now is that the Steam Deck will be available somewhere in late spring. The company does not share information about its real cost as well. Valve did not reply to this question sent by users. If you don’t wait, you can use a USB-C hub to bring Steam games to your TV. Still, if you are patient enough to wait for the new product, there is not much time left to wait.

Are you waiting for the Steam Deck? How much are you willing to pay for the new opportunity? You may share your answer in the comments below.
